Based in Harrodsburg, KY, these high-energy performers have a wide range of music, ranging from yesterday's oldies to today's top hits.
They have a large play list which includes classic rock, country, bluegrass, Motown, and instrumentals.
Noon Festival Information 1 p.m. Bottle Rocket Symphony This is truly an amazing group of four young men who will rock your socks off. In addition to classics by artists such as Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Queen, Coldplay, and Johnny Cash, they also perform their own original songs. The audience is in for an amazingly good time!
3 p.m. Sound Check 4 p.m. Thunder Ridge
Thunder Ridge plays everything from the The Grass Roots to Bob Seger to Creedence to Grand Funk, etc. Their music is good-time, foot-stomping Rock & Roll. Some of the band have been playing together for over thirty years, and they have formed a tight rhythm. They keep churning out feel-good music that everyone loves to hear and sing along. Eldon Huff and Bo Allen, of Scarekrow, both started their successful careers with Thunder Ridge!
6 p.m. Force 10
Force 10 combines infectious melodies and powerful dynamics with hard rock
riffs and honest songwriting to create a sound that's hard to categorize. With
the immense combined experience of this small town band, the vast spectrum of
influences can be heard in every song. Their latest CD, "Frozen," is planned for
release in late July.
A Harlan County native, Eldon is an accomplished songwriter influenced
by a wide range of rock and country performers. He brings a love of everyday
life and everyday people to the stage. His new single, "Where I'm From," is a
highly requested song on country radio stations. Eldon plans to release his new
CD shortly before the festival. It has some truly remarkable songs. Don't miss
his performance.
Saturday, June 7 9 a.m. Poke Sallet Idol Competition (concludes at 3 p.m.) 3:30 p.m. Pine Mountain Grass Performing the best of traditional bluegrass, this group brings tons of talent and many years of experience to the Main Stage. They are guaranteed to have the audience tapping their toes!
4:30 p.m. Kudzu Killers ![]()
After playing around campfires and cabins for years, this group formed in 2006. It can best be described as a mountain, new grass, string band. The Kudzu Killers cover music both new and old. Heavily influenced by the current New Grass movement, they also draw from the 70's outlaw country classics. Their motto is, "If it ain't fun, we ain't doin' it!!!" They definitely get that message across to their audience.

Drive These Southeastern Kentucky musicians are loaded
with talent and experience. Most have played together for several years, and
they have a reputation for bringing outstanding bluegrass music to the stage.

7:30 p.m. Above Average Garage Band Two generations of Harlan Countians make up this seven-member band that plays primarily 70's rock, some country, and "something completely different if we like it!" The band made its debut at the 2006 Poke Sallet Festival. Members include: Greg Hollins, Robert Jones, Michael Kelly, Forrest Hollins, Matt Jones, Sean Greene, and Brandy Ledford. 9

The Devonshire brothers have thrilled audiences from coast-to-coast with their action-packed journey through the "greatest decade of rock and roll,"1964-1974. Their great performances include period costumes and zany skits guaranteed to delight the entire family.
